Mindy Greene

Creative Director

Head Chef

A writer by training, Mindy worked for some of the most creative ad agencies in Los Angeles. When she moved back to Denver to marry her handsome-but-humble husband (he wrote that part), she worked for two of the largest agencies in Colorado before breaking out on her own. She began Greene Advertising because she loves a healthy challenge. And because it sounded snappy. Over the years, she’s worked on the most high profile real estate, real estate brokerage, banking, hospital, resort, fast food, health care, car dealership, education, and non-profit accounts in the state. Her years of copywriting, creative direction, and agency ownership have taught her that when you love it, it’s obvious. Next to her passion for creating brand story, integrated marketing plans, websites, direct mail, advertising, television, radio, and experiential marketing events, she is also proud of the taco bar she set up in her son’s 6th grade Spanish class. They’re apparently still talking about it to this day.

JP (John Phillips)

Senior Art Director

Tail Gunner

The son of a photographer, JP set out to follow in his father’s footsteps. But then he fell in love with advertising, and went from photo assistant to student at the Art Center College of Design to junior art director to senior art director to creative director to entrepreneur in 16 years and 9 months. He’s now one of the most awarded senior level art directors in the state. He’s a fourth generation Denver native, and he’s as comfortable with Adobe Photoshop as he is with motorcycle slang.

Jennifer Hope-Bennett

Senior Art Director

The Sleeper

Don’t be fooled by her quiet, laid back demeanor. Jennifer is a powerhouse. Her work has enabled this company to win some of the most prestigious awards in advertising. Her work on the Kempe Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, the Children’s Hospital Heart Foundation, and AWARE are among her most beautiful and emotional designs, and subsequently some of Greene Advertising’s most successful campaigns. Her heart, intelligence, and incredible eye for balance have put this company on the national scene. See? She’ll sneak up on you.

Lauren Ashley

Assistant Project Manager

Aesthetic Guru

Lauren spent the first eight years of her career in the fashion industry in New York. From fashion shows in Manhattan, Chicago and Dallas, to pulling clothing racks through traffic in midtown, there’s nothing she can’t put together. With Greene Advertising, Lauren combines her aesthetic acumen and organizational skills to guarantee a successful outcome for every project that flows through the company. Organized, committed to checking it off her list, and with a passionate eye for meticulous detail, Lauren keeps all the components of Greene Advertising together with the perfect combination of humor and resolve. It also doesn’t hurt that she’s a fantastic dresser.

Laura Manthey

Senior Art Director

The Thinker

A thinking-person’s designer, Laura brings a finely tuned strategic marketing sense to the often-subjective world of graphics. For 35 years she’s designed for clients such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Hunter Douglas Window Fashions, Hyde Park Jewelers, Koelbel and Company, Shoretel Communications, Kohler Company, Gatorade, SC Johnson, Brio Toys, Wisconsin Energy, Key Bank, Boys and Girls Clubs, Mercy Housing, several tech companies and over 30 medical centers coast to coast. She has earned national recognition in award shows and industry journals, and has enjoyed delivering original thinking and high-energy work through her experience in advertising agencies, design studios and her own 24-year old firm.

Ben Greene

Assistant to the Creative Director

The Kid

Ben graduated with honors from the School of Cinematic Arts at University of Southern California, and while he’s not the first to admit it, his creative work has been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Brand New Theater, and the Cannes Film Festival, where he won the Creative Mind Competition’s Best Director and Best Film award. He’s a whip-smart producer, an insightful creative, and he can make excel spreadsheets like nobody’s business. It doesn’t hurt that he’s cut his production teeth at companies like Collegehumor, Smokehouse Pictures (George Clooney’s production company) and TV shows like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Dr. Ken on ABC. Ben brings an industry-conscience eye to Greene Advertising’s audiovisual and social media campaigns, flashing his millennial generation card with impressive flare. All in his first year out of school!
